Where to go for help

So, you’re thinking that your relationship might be a dangerous one… now what? It might be scary to think about getting out of a relationship if you’ve been threatened or controlled, which is why it’s important not to go at it alone.

Maybe you’ve been withdrawing from your friends and family, but now is a good time to let them know that you need their support as you end your relationship. If you still don’t feel safe ending your relationship, even with their support, there are places in Maine that can help.
